Square 1 Roofing has been involved in the Truss and Roofing installation of numerous (20+) Child Development centers through its relationship with Atlantic Marine Construction (AMC).
Scope of Work: Once the modular set is complete, Square 1 seals the modular made lines to provide a seal that allows other phases of construction to proceed in a controlled environment. 2x6 bearing/uplift plates are installed to the modular sets, connecting the top plate of the wall stud. This enables the load to be transferred from the wall plate to the wall stud. Truss installation ensues with the installation of 16 gauge steel trusses secured to the bearing plates with tsuc-5 truss clips and MTS hurricane clips to the modular set, ensuring appropriate wind loads and stabilization of the metal roof system.
Once inspection of the truss and bearing plate details are complete the roofing phase ensues with the installation of 26 gauge exposed fastener PBR roof panels. Following truss and roofing inspection all detail work commences with the sealing of all roof penetrations and curb flashings. Cornice work and commercial grade box gutter installation completes the scope of work.
From the purchasing of materials and installation of the truss and roof system, Square 1 project manages the roofing phase under the specifications and guidance of the prime contractor, COR, engineers and superintendents. |
